Kubota BX2200 oil filter cross reference

Its time to change the oil and filter in my BX2200 and I would like to use filters other than what the dealer sells. Has someone crossed the filter over?

And as usual the fuel filter Wix 33972 is incorrect no BX or other Kubota uses 50 micron a screen for a fuel filter. This is why I do not trust the Wix cross reference guide.

What is the micron rating for the kubota fuel filter? Is there a "correct" alternative from another manufacture? (Napa, FRAM, etc).

Do not know what the micron rating is on the Kubota filter is. I think Kubota had these made just for this type of application just for them as it is a water blocking paper element inside an inline housing. I would think that they are in the 10 micron range as they do block water from fuel without dispersal agents added, have not found any specs for them though.

On my RTV1100, G2160 and BX2230 I have adapted the newer B series water separator between the lift pump and injection pump, as I was having water get past the first filter to the second and it does a good job catching the water.
