While waiting for my new Kubota 4330 tractor to come in the dealer let me take the bucket home. So I mounted 3 hooks and the Markham Welding toothbar. The first picture shows getting ready to weld on the hooks.

This picture shows the welded hooks I use a Millermatic 210 with .035" wire. I love this machine.

This picture shows a piece of metal that I welded in to stengthen the surface that the middle hook is welded to. I'm not sure if it would bend so I thought that I would play it safe.

A view of the Markham toothbar. I paid about $250 for it plus $60 for shipping and since it took an extra day to get here due to the trucking company Markham called and told me they were very sorry and would send a check right away to me for $60! What great people to deal with.

Nice job! What type of store and what do I ask for when I go to buy the chain hooks? I would like to do this modification as well.

THose are weld on chain hooks. I got mine at at place that builds trailers... I want to think I saw then in the AW Direct catalog I used to have...but don't know where it is so I can't check... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

In my case I put a slip hook in the center and grab hooks at the ends...I am happy with that setup, but either way will work jsut fine I suppose...

Chain hooks on the bucket rank right up there with the toothbar, in my opinion anyway... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Definately not from AW Direct /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Guess you are probably right, Jerry...

Mine were the weld on type which I like better. Not sure where they were made though. They sure do the job though...

Proof again why they call you the "Inspector..." /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
