Kubota Ballast box

Kubota has a slightly redesigned ballast box. I haven't been able to find one for a hands on look, and the photos from Kubota are inconclusive..

If anyone has one of the newer ballast boxes, can you tell if it's compatible with a "U" style Quick Hitch?

I bought one last fall for my B7800. I don't have a quick hitch. I can measure it if that would help.
