Can anyone please give me information on how Kubota mounts their 4672 backhoe on the B2410?

I have the same hoe, but the 2710, which is the next size frame up. I don't think there is a significant difference, though. It uses a 3ph attachment, a reinforced toplink bracket, and reinforced subframe brackets (I believe). I have the LA-402 FEL on my tractor, and I believe the subframe brackets required to mount the FEL satisfy the reinforcement requirements for the hoe, too. I think I read that if you have no FEL, you will need to reinforce the subframe with some brackets, too. Of course, you will also need to have some front end ballast. I personlly wouldn't recommend the hoe without the FEL on the tractor, since the FEL adds so much to the stablility while digging (assuming you use it to raise the front tires up). The rear 3ph attachement is quite rigid, once in place (the bar that goes in the toplink bracket is really beefy!) Some people get really passionate about NOT using a 3PH hoe, and that it MUST be a sub-frame mount. I have used mine quite a bit, and I really don't think there is any reason to worry if used according to the manual. Happy digging/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

the 3pt hoes are great we use ours 2-3 times a week. just make sure they give you the heavy duty toplink braket. Mine came without the bracket and I'm still fighting to get it.

I have the 4672 on a B2400. The information Paul gave you is true for the B2400 as well. I got my hoe in the crate that came from Kubota and set it up myself. Just like the pump, the toplink bracket comes in the crate and is part of the hoe package, although I got charged extra for it because I didn't know that ahead of time.

The subframe brackets attach to the differential on each side at the back and to the loader frame on each side in the front. The transmission fluid must be drained to install them. The brackets stay on the tractor all the time, even without the hoe attached. They do not reduce ground clearance. The manual says you can not use a hoe without a loader installed.

The hoe attaches to the 3 pont hitch and like Paul said is really mounted solid. 2 special hardened toplink pins attach it to the toplink bracket.

I am very happy with mine.
