Can you please help me spec my new tractor and implements correctly? I am a noob and don稚 know much about hydraulics etc. Dealer salesperson is a good soul (and really my only option in the area), but I知 not 100% sure know how the various pieces will work together擁n any event, I would like to double check.
So we are very close to getting a new Kubota L6060 with a BH92 backhoe attachment.
Other rear implements will include:
Land Pride RCR2672 6 rotary cutter
Land Pride FDR2572 6 grooming mower
Land Pride RBT3596 8 back blade
LA1055 Front loader will have:
葉hird function valve kit
欄L2271 hydraulic spill guard, anti-spill feature for buckets
揺eavy duty bucket
有and Pride PFL3058 pallet forks
勇A 55 inch single lid wicked root grapple
Will use the back blade to plow snow on gravel drives, maintain gravel drives and possibly create walking paths. To maximize utility and convenience (alas we are lazy and not handy!), was planning to get hydraulic offset, hydraulic tilt and hydraulic angle, hydraulically controlled gauge wheel and side plates (given that it costs so much I don稚 think we can afford a box blade as well容specially as we will probably use the mower and loader more).
Will use the rotary cutter to mow gently hilly meadows, but would also like to be able to back into the forest and set it down on nasty piles of multiflora rose, Japanese barberry and other invasive plants (a fellow from Minnesota on TBN had a good video of his tractor doing similar, which inspired the thought).
Am inclined to get Cat 2 hookups for the implements, since the tractor will take them, they are more heavy duty, and I would like to use everything for a few decades, if possible. Is that the right call? (The tractor can take Cat 1 or Cat 2 implements.)
So my questions:
1. Should I get a Land Pride QH20 Cat 2 quick hitch? Normally I would think yes, just not sure if that will interfere with the BH92 backhoe attachment when it is time to put that on?
2. Should I get a Top N Tilt? Normally I would think yes, as I think it would allow me to do the backing up with the rotary cutter I have in mind and give good flexibility for most implements and make them easier to mount. But: will it get in the way of the BH92 backhoe when we put that on?
3. Is the Top N Tilt overkill if the blade has so much hydraulic flexibility? Conversely, should I get the Top N Tilt, but go with more limited on the options on the blade? (The blade as spec壇 feels quite Cadillac to me, and will cost close to $5,000肪ut the cost will be split among three families, and we can finance it all now, and I don稚 want to make changes later....)
4. I don稚 expect we will remove the loader much, if ever. Do I need the 鏑2260 Quick Coupler for LA1055? (It costs around $600.). I expect we will change between grapple and pallet forks and bucket from time to time. Do I want the 鏑2262 single lever valve hose quick coupler?
4. Regarding rear remotes, plan is to get three, since everyone seems to recommend that. Dealer seems to suggest 1st position float, 2nd and 3rd position double acting valve.
In light of the implements/uses/questions above, what is the right setup for the rear remotes and the related controls?
Thank you very much for any advice and guidance you can give!
