Hey all

I am looking at buy a 2001 B7500 kubota with just over 500 hours. The owner has a york rake and a rear blade attachment that is going witht the tractor. Also has some sort of 3 point hitch for standard ball, trailor hook up. Oh and a Fel! He is asking $7000.00. I want to use at my cabin (approx. 30 acres mostly woods) to mow trails, prepare food plots (small), groom the driveway etc... Just wondering everyones thoughts. Good price? Fit for that kind of work? Also wondering everyone recommends for a pull behind mower. Want to buy a used one. Not sure best size and manufacturer.

Not sure where you are located, but $7-9k would be a typical price here in NY.
$6-8k without a loader

Forgot to mention, my land has some sloped areas and some flat. Anybody else care to chime in?

If it has been maintained properly, that sounds like a real good price with FEL and the attachments.

Everything Attachments supplies a handy link with info on most every Kubota (and others) like so: Kubota B7500 - Specifications - Attachments

Gives you an idea of the range of equipment you can use and how it suits your needs.

I've got the B7800 - a later model direct descendent of yours, and half of my place is wooded. The B series (and the smaller BX sizes) are great for working amongst the trees because of their relatively small footprint. It's the main reason I didn't buy aan L series - the physical size of the tractor.

With only 500 hrs I'd call yours a fine deal, and they sure are good tractors.

You should be able to make the rear wheels wider by moving the hub on the axle. The wider you make it the more stable it will be on slopes.
