Hi all,

I am new to the forum and "tractor world" and have a question regarding my Kubota B7001: I just bought it used a couple of month ago and need to know were to top up the hydraulic oil for the FEL. When I am pushing snow with the bucket, everything works fine. When I get to the snowbank and lift some snow on it and the tractor is not level anymore, the FEL and Bucket get jerking and don't want to move freely. When the tractor is on level ground again everything is back to normal. I believe the fluid level is to low. Where do I check the level, and what kind of oil should I use. Right now it is -19 celsius, but it can get colder.
Where can I find a workshop manual for the tractor?
It is an older modell and doesn't have any english writing on it.

Thanks
Martin

Trans dipstick should be located on transmission just in front of seat as I recall. Filling location is a yellow ( was on my 1994 anyway) plug located behind seat by the 3 point lift arms. Should be clearly visible from behind tractor and right behind the little toolbox.

You tractor is the same as a B7100. Where you check the hydraulic oil depends on the model loader you have on your tractor. If you have an older tractor and loader like mine, a B7100 with a KUB219 loader. This loader has its own hydraulic pump driven off the front of the crankshaft. It sticks out in front of the radiator of the tractor. If you have this style loader the hydraulic reservoir is built into the frame of the loader. It is on the right side of the loader frame just below the valve that controls the bucket. My loader manual says the level of the fluid should be 4" below the breather hole on the top of the reservoir.
If your loader does not have its own hydraulic pump in front of the radiator then the reservoir for the oil is in the transmission like the previous responder B2400 said.
As far as a shop manual get one for a B7100. Search on Ebay. I got an I & T and also a genuine Kubota manual. Both have been very helpful.
