I have a chance to purchase a Kubota B6200 HST 4x4 tractor. It is a 1988 model, has 630 hours, and the only attachment is a 48"MMM. I would rate the condition as a strong 8 out of 10. Best price I can get would be $5000.
Does this sound like a good price? Anyone care to make any comments on this model?
Thanks in advance,

It seems that might be a bit high. If you haven't already, look at Machinery Link... at the very bottom of the page there is a used tractor price guide. That will give you a better idea of what it's worth.
Ken; sounds like a bit high price... but well within the range of reality if the tractor and deck are in excellent condition. I have a 1985 B7200HST with both 48" and 60" decks. I've owned many tractors (the B7200 is the smallest), and can quickly and honestly state the B7200 is the toughest little machine, pound for pound, that i have ever owned or operated. The B6200 is essentially identical to the B7200 excepting HP. When i compare the older B series to those available today, i would again encourage a used buy... the older ones have more iron/steel in them and appear more robust. Should you need details on the 6200 I still have original Kubota literature and would be pleased to share with you. Good luck in your pursuit.
