Looking into a 4 WD Diesel Kubota B6100/disc, PTO, and about 600 hours (?), present owner thinks a 1983. Have seen this model on posts @ TBN, but some have "letters" following model number,...what do they signify?...what would be a fair market value for this tractor (in California)? is this tractor "bucket" compatable?...and what would a used bucket cost (appox. of course). Haven't seen this tractor yet, owner says in "good" condition and hasn't been run in about 4-6 mos.
any help/advice appreciated, /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I had a B6100 for over 20 years. Mine was made in 1978 or 1979. They are 14 hp. The letters designate two wheel drive (E) four wheel drive (DT) Hydrostatic (HSE/HSE) Although people rarely seem to use the right letters. My tractor was a four wheel drive gear model. I used it hard for many years. It is a rugged little beast. I sold it to my father-in-law for $2500.00. Depending on condition and attachments they go for between $2500-$3500.00 in the midwest. You can get a loader for them, but I have no idea on price. I never had one on mine. They are small and very powerful. Don't let the 14hp fool you, they are very strong tractors. It would loose traction before it would stall. I upgraded to a B7610 last year and I like it much better, but my old B6100 served me well for over 20 years and it is still running strong. I have to admit I still miss it sometimes. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
