Kubota B2650
New to the forums and just purchased a Kubota B2650HSDC. Any must have mods or accessories I need? I'm thinking I'm going to do a backup and Fel camera. Also going to do front and rear led cab lights.

Congrats and welcome.

What are you planning on doing with it?

Rear wheel spacers and loading the tires were probably the first thing I did when I got a B2650 rops, made it feel more stable on slopes, and the added ballast helped with loader work while the backhoe was removed.

If you plan on using any rear implements that may require hydraulics it is nice to have rear remotes added. Same goes if you plan on getting a grapple, a third function valve is handy.

Other than that, get some implements to do what you need, and have fun.

I also just upgraded to a B 2650 with cab and my first mod was a rear camera. The bracket for the safety triangle in the rear is a great place to mount the camera and the monitor is mounted at the top center of the dash. The next was to add a ballast box filled with 400 lbs of concrete. Before I poured in the concrete, on each of the inside back corners of the box I taped a 2" length of PVC that is now sealed in by concrete. These sections of PVC are now tool holders for a rake and shovel. Mu next mod will be wheel spacers for increased stability . Coming from a B 2920 open tractor I find the B2650 a little top heavy with the cab so spending the rear wheel base is a safety concern. Since the installed radio does not have bluetooth I'm going to mount a small blue tooth speaker near the top of the cab close to my head so I can hear the phone if it rings. I also added a 12 volt pigtail with a dash switch to control the electric pump on my rear mounted sprayer. So far I am very happy with the B 2650, plenty of power and the A/c great in the Texas heat

The quick disconnect FEL and the new style three point are a great improvement and make it a quick and easy job to change out the FEL for the ballot forks and switching rear attachments

You might want to consider a bolt-on tooth bar for your bucket.
Increases utility big time.

What is the new style 3 point? Can you elaborate?

Primarily will be using the tractor for mowing and thought about loading the tired but don't want to rut up the yard. Also thought about the wheel spacers I have some slopes and uneven areas on my place. I may try loading the tires and see how I like it.

Got any pictures of your camera setup? Yes the A/C is going to be great in this east Texas/Arkansas heat!

How does it affect finish work with you bucket? Back dragging, etc.

I was going to add a piranha tooth bar but the shipping and exchange rate was going to make it about the same cost as another bucket. So I got a piece of 1/2" AR450 steel and made something similar and welded it on and figured if it was a problem for finishing work I'd just pick up another bucket. After using it I didn't feel there was a need for a second bucket, the back edge of the cutting edge is flat and did a good job at back dragging if the bucket was close to level. It made the bucket dig better and stiffened it up a lot, also doubt that tractor would ever wear it out.

for those that asked, I will try and get some pictures this weekend of the new style 3 point set up and my camera instal. I am also going to add some wheel spacers on the rear for a slightly wider track

As for the three point changes, both arms now have pins and numerous holes for adjusting the width quickly eliminating the turnbuckles. There is a also a ratching adjustment on the right arm to fine tune adjustment . These two changes really make attaching implements much easier and quicker
