Today I talked to the Kubota local service engineer about the purchase of the model B1220. New tractor. Will he have a power for clearing pavements of snow in the winter? Are you using such a model? I am waiting for fair opinions.

I think it will depend on how you plan to clear snow ...
Would you be using a snowblower, front blade, or rear blade?
I would think it would run a 36 or 40" front or rear blower nicely.
Not sure I'd want to try a blade in much over 6" of snow, especially if it's wet snow.

It's a very interesting machine - almost like they updated our B5100, in terms of specs:
12HP, 3x2 trans for 6 speeds, Hi/Lo PTO, etc.
It is heavier, has much better 3pt lift, and a less cluttered work area.

The price is right up there, too, at 6615 pounds + VAT.
I think that works out to about 6615x1.56x1.20= $12,400

I wonder if Kubota would even consider importing this model to the US?
