2016 KUBOTA B2650 w/cab & A/C
I'm getting to the point (old age:eek:) that I would like to put a cab on my 2001 Kubota B2910. I've found the Curtis and Sims cabs on the internet, but I wonder if there are any other cabs that would fit my tractor. I would even consider used if it was in very good condition. Did Kubota ever make any add-on cabs for this tractor?

Thanks for any help.

I have the Curtis cab with soft doors,, It came with a heater and lights for the top...Doooo love it.. Doors pop off for the summer and I or the wife can plow the drive in the winter with a t shirt on,, :)

Thanks guys. What is the advantage of the hard side doors over the soft side doors? Also thanks for the info on the Lauren, I hadn't heard of that one before.

Never had the hard doors to compare but I'm on my second with the soft doors and they work fine for me. Maybe the plastic widows get scratched and foggy over time where the glass won't?

I don't believe that Kubota ever offered an add on cab. You had to get a factory installed cab for it to be branded Kubota.

I have the metal Curtis cab on my RTV. The doors can be removed but are heavy and awkward to put on without a little help to guide the pins into the hinges. Taking them off is a little easier, but they are still heavy. The cab is noisy, it seems to amplify sound plus the rattle of the diesel will not let you listen to a radio. The benefits are that it is weather proof and warm and it is great to plow snow in your shirt sleeves. You can go through a patch of Blackberries to retrieve a deer and not get tore up and the metal roof will ward off the widow makers. I could sound proof it some but it is a work vehicle. If I want to listen to the radio I put on my Work-Tunes (headphones).

I was in the same shoes as you three years ago. wanted new aftermarket cabs. After researching costs and what not, almost all said just get different tractor. THey are noisier and dont seal up anywhere as nice. Nothing like a factory cab. I did check with Laurin and they were mighty expensive. I put a plastic canopy on it before I got my cab tractor.

I agree with the above. We have a Curtis with a hard top, glass windshield and soft back/doors. It amplifies the tractor noise, bit it keeps us tosaty warm. Dad used to have an L3650 with a hard sided Laurin cab on it and id did the same thing with noise.

look into trading your tractor for a leftover B3000. Cost will be only marginly more than a well equiped aftermarket cab.
Worth looking into. A Curtis (or similar) cab will set you back $3-4k, so it would be worth at least getting a quote on another machine.
