im looking at an kubota 7040su fel 1153LA 4x4 R1s 1 rear remotes i ran it yesterday i didnt like the small handle on the shuddle shifer i didnt get around to messing with the fel im doing that this week i dont know it i should get it or look at another brand does anyone own this model what are the fel limits

Kubota's website will tell you all the specs of the loader. Each brand's loader specs are very comparable.
I'm looking at that size chassis too. There are three drawbacks to Kubota, 8 speed versus 12 or 16 with competitors, height of center of gravity and front tire size/width. I operate on steep terrain and like Case IH and New Holland for their lower profile and their bigger/wider front tires. You can also special order a Case IH with 28" rears and 20" fronts versus the standard 30" rears and 24" fronts which would lower the COG even more.
