From reading the very usefull reviews in this forum, I decided to go with a Kubota B2410 with 60" MMM and FEL. 4wd Hysdrostatic drive. My dealer quoted me 16800 with rebate 16,100. I have 32 acres, but 23 is in a forest conservation easement which can't be touched. I have 6-7 acres of grass to cut, a couple of acres of some wods I can play with and a pretty long driveway. I chose the 2410 because I didnt really want the larger deck but wanted the HP to run aux equipment if I choose later on. Did I get a good price? Any other thoughts on my decision would be helpfull before I actually write the check. The dealer has a very good reputation for service. Honest family owned business.

Thanks

Matt,

I paid $17K for the same setup with the addition of a Woods 60" rear blade. I also shopped 3 dealers in my area and this was the best price and closest to my house. You definitely are doing better than I did, although I don't think I worked it that hard.

John

Sounds pretty good to me.

I paid $25,000 CDN for that same unit. Taking the current exchange rate according to the Bank of Canada (0.6420) that is $16050 USD. Seems to me you got a good deal too /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. The dealer I bought from showed me his cost in the Kubota Canada book. He charged me 4% over his cost.

That is probably about right. Hey, welcome to the Kubota B2410, Kubota's biggest little tractor. J

It appears that you did get a good price. I am currently in the negotiation process and have gotten quotes from Carver and Tractorsmart that are in the $16,100 to $16,400 range. Where I live (NW Washington) the local dealers usually try to get as close to retail list as possible. I have two dealers who are willing to "talk" to me about getting close to the $16,200 range for the B2410 with FEL and 60" MMM. Hope this helps.

I only have 2.5 acres but it is very hilly and here it is always wet. I have to regrade my property and put in a new lawn so I was interested in the HP, the better hydraulics on the B2410 as opposed to the smaller tractors, and the ability to use some rental attachments.
