Was my dad's first car. It was cool, basically VW Beetle built for war.

I always thought those looked cool in the old war movies.
I don't remember seeing any in the US in car collections, etc...

Exactly what I was thinking. It looks almost exactly like a Thing. Oddly that model didnt last too long either.

the original Kublwagen was only rear wheel drive with reductors in wheels - ot was not really off road vehicle.
