Komatsu Dozer assistance

Just bought a D-38E and got it to the property to start clearing for a house. What a great machine! Got a lot done after 5 hours of seat time.
However, got a transmission pressure light on steady, and don't have any manuals yet. The light would also flash on/off when shifting from reverse/forward and vice versa. The owner is supposed to be shipping me service records, which I hope includes an OM or SM, but I need it NOW!
I have very limited experience on the dozer mechanical side, and after reading Eddie Walker's thread and others on dozer repair ($$$$), I will not operate it till I find out what's the problem. I checked the hyd level, looks perfect. Dozer has been sitting awhile, perhaps filters? Or the light/sending unit itself?
And, any sources for Operators or Service manuals? I've seen the CD's, but I'm a bit old school and prefer the manuals.
Any help will be greatly appreciated....will try to download some pics as well.
