kohler twin KT 17 series 2

Had trouble with oil leaking I think it's just gunked up and I'm wondering if I could clean the valves without taking the motor out

I have a Kohler twin cylinder in a Deutz Allis lawn tractor . The rear crankshaft oil seal blew out . Earlier, the front crankshaft seal blew out.
It may be that the crankshaft breather is not functioning correctly, and allowing piston blowby to pressurize the crankshaft .
