Kohler K241A vs. K241AS differences?

Hi Guys,

I have a old Cub Cadet model 105 with a seized Kohler K241AS Powerplant. I am looking at a replacement K241A motor from a model 109 as a replacement. Are the dimensions are the same?

I think A stands for special oilpan, S is electr start.

If the block bottoms are the same it'll work.
Check PTO stub dia.

I replaced a 301A with a standard 301 block(flanges on the pan side) I got it in but it was a PITA. had to make lots of mods to the block as well to get it to fit.(was in a JD 112)
