Rotary Cutter Kodiak rotary cutter

Have any of you fellows, ever heard of a Kodiak mower, I'm looking at a used one in good shape, just a little surface rust, but not bad, it's a 5 foot standard duty, for $300.00, anybody know what a new one sells for, the decal said Kodiak Charleston Tenn.

Go here to their website. Looks like that they build a good mower. If the gearbox is tight, no cracks, and everything looks good underneath, it's probably a good price. Look to see how many times it's been rewelded. That'll give you an idea of how it's been used. Rusted out spots? Holes? Blades in good shape? Probably a good deal though. John

I have seen this brand at a local dealer. They look well made for a lower end cutter. For that price I would buy it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
