Kodiak Brush Cutter?

Can anyone tell me about the quality, durability and cut of the Kodiak brush cutter? I just saw a new heavy duty 10ft pull behind for $4k, and it looked well built. The price seems decent compared to the competition. What are your thoughts?

Light duty, bad welds, crappy tires, from what I've seen. It's definitely not a "brush cutter". You will tear it up in nothing flat. A grass clipper is more like it... maybe it would hold up just fine.

It does apear that you are not talking about the same Kodiak rotary cutter that has the heaviest and strongest stump jumper on the market, that is one of the best if not the best value on the market. And unlike King cutter they do not weld the nuts on the blade bolts like a fool would. Just how smart could anyone be that would do that, matter of fact KK tried a few years back to build a 10' and had to scrap every unit, It was not untill they bought taylor (a dying company) did they start selling a 10' cutter.

Do you have pictures of the 10 ft. Hawkline? I've never seen one, and I can't seem to google an image either.

If you can post it, that'd be great. I'm curious to see what it looks like.

Yes... I think Big Bee and Kodiak are similar products.

So by the way what do you do in the farm equipment industry?

Consulting. Arrange meetings. Attend farm shows. Determine the viability of new products. I used to work for a couple major and minor tractor mfg's and large dealers. I know people in the Farm Equipment Industry from CEO's of Tractor mfgs to CEO's and owners of implement companies and implement distributors, etc.

So to answer... what do I do... I know people and I introduce them.
