What is your experience with Kioti's technical data?

Personally, I'm not that impressed. For example, I have two undated (although one is certainly older) owners manuals for my DK45S but they show different maintenance schedules. Both owners manuals and the workshop manual seem to be missing about half of the grease fittings (and show fittings where none exist). The workshop manual is thorough in some areas but sketchy in others. So far (with help from others here) this hasn't been a problem for me but it makes me wonder what else I missed.

We used to have a guy in this forum who actually WROTE some Kioti Owner's Manuals; they were good.

The newer maintenance manuals are far superior to older ones. As the DK45s is an older generation tractor they may not have the nicer manual for it. There is a big difference between the older CK manual and the newer DKse manual.

I can believe it. Korenglish is tough in technical manuals! My maintenance manual for the DKse however is really well done with appropriate diagrams and photos as well as native English.

Instructions on how to change a tire on an old MG.

Remove tool set from the boot.
Remove spare tyre.
Place lift in proper location and raise slightly.
Place spanner on hub and address it smartly in anti clockwise direction.
Continue raising to remove tyre.
Remove tyre and reverse the process to complete the task.

By the way I know how to spell Tire.

I have a set of shop and part manuals for my 2010 DK45SE HST and for the most part they are very well done. There are a few discrepancies... like part numbers on oil filters, but i think this is due to continual part number changes thru the years.

The pictures are VERY nice. I had a service manual for my old JD870 that wasn't done up as nicely as the Kioti's is.

Dear Toadhill, Your reference is to the difference between "the King's English" and ordinary English spoken and written by those rebels in what is known as "the Colonies".
Now for your test: what is the 'boot'? A 'spanner'?
'Addressing it smartly in a clockwise direction'...what are you addressing?
What is the correct name of the tools used on British cars of this vintage?

FWIW I bought a genuine Kubota Workshop Manual for my BX24.
Many of the photos are poor, it is very difficult to make out what they are showing.
Inexcusable for what they charge.
