What information can you get from the Kioti serial numbers?

no problem. i tried with the search engine above...what a mess. 1,000's of hits but not what i was looking for. i did a google search...came right up

Ascending letters correspond with ascending years except, for some reason, Kioti messed things up when they got to the "N" (I have a "N"). Should be for 2014 but instead the 2013's are "N". Go figure. But someone on TBN probably knows the reason - It's still a mystery to me.

Mystery solved! Figured one of the old guard Kioti guys would know the story. Wish they would update their chart to reflect that. Bound to confuse anyone with a letter after "I".

The 17 digit VIN on vehicles do not use the letter I either too easy to confuse with number 1.

It's a mystery to me also. The demo I drove on the lot was a 2013 (or I was told) with a "M" serial number but when mine got delivered it was a "N".

I bought a brand new kioti DK40SEH IN 2014 with the same 401 loader listed , no reg required still Tier 3

What about 'Q'? It appears Kioti also skipped that with 2021 starting with 'X'...

That 2013 Kioti is not coming my way as the seller seems interested in other buyers and honestly they pissed me off by wasting my time. As if it wasn't enough that the owner used his son to list it under the wrong model to begin with. Then after nearly an hour total on the phone they have twice decided it's for sale, not for sale, for sale, now "pending". Buying is just as much of a PITA as selling and both have their nasties.
