Kioti quick attach ?

I have a DK 55 and am now realizing I should have gooten the quick attach system from the get go. Any one have experience ,good ,or bad ,indiferent on Kioti's . Would I be better off going after market ?

I am constantly using mine,,, switching from the bucket to the pallet forks /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif A very good investment!!

I ended up with a Woods 1009 FEL with a 66" quick attach bucket on my DK35.Don't know how true it is but the dealer told me it was a better set up than the Kioti 1450 FEL.I was told that the bucket isn't secured as well and can come off on the Kioti.I'm sure others who know more will have a better answer to this.I find the quick attach to be very usefull when it comes time to brush hog,much easier to mow with the bucket off. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Just to let you know. So far at our dealership we haven't had any problems with the QA Buckets coming off during use. One time i did notice that i didn't quite get the handle all the way down, now if someone used it like that it might come off, but that is just a matter of operator error. The QA systems on kioti are the same design as the "bobcat" skid steer loader quick attach system. So basically you could use alot of attachments off a skid steer on your tractor and if the attachment needs hydraulics we run hoses back to the rear remotes...

If you have a 6 foot bucket you could'nt have gotten it anyway.Kioti only offers it on the smaller buckets,that kind of indicates to me that it may not be as strong as it could be.....Mike

True,I wanted the 66" bucket and Kioti only had the option of a 60" bucket on there quick attach.

Kioti does offer bigger buckets with the quick attach system. They just don't offer the 66". They have a 60" 72" QA Bucket, 84" QA Bucket (for the DK65) and they are coming out with a 78" QA Bucket for the KL1595 Loader. The 60", 72" and 78" buckets are all a Univeral Attach, so they will fit on any of the QA Plates. But obivously you wouldn't want to use a 72" bucket on a KL1450, that would be an over kill and would be overloaded to easly. So its not a matter of strength just a matter of what size QA buckets they offer. Personally i would like to see them come out with a 66" QA Bucket. But if you really wanted to im sure you could get another bucket with the same "univeral attach" in a 66" size or around that size, as it will accept any "bobcat" style QA style attachement.

I have the 6 foot bucket on . Can I just cut off the pin bracket and weld on whjatever the QA bracket is onto my implements, snow plow, forks, material bucket.
