Kioti LK30
I have owned my 2007 Kioti LK30 for about a year. It has a bit over 600 hrs on it. Has a manual transmission (8 speed) with a dual clutch. Everything works fine except that recently the clutch stays partially depressed when released. Have to lift it with my foot to engage. Then it works fine. Don't have shop manual yet. Not sure what to look for. Hopefully not a serious internal issue. Does anyone know what I should look for?? Any advise would be appreciated.

Welcome to TBN! I would look closely at the pivot points for the clutch pedal. Some have a grease fitting that get overlooked often. Also check the return spring is still attached.

I doubt it is internal at this point. Good luck.

Thanks. I did check underneath and saw the spring that is still in place and I lubricated all of the exposed piviot points. It did not make a difference. Forgot to mention that this issue started in the fall when the clutch pedal was starting to return more slowly. Now in the cold it is gets stuck as I mentioned previously. When I release the clutch it springs back about half way and then gets stuck. I have ne ver operated the PTO as there is a backhow on the back. Tractor also sits for months at a time under a shelter. It does sound to me like a lack of lubrication but I don't see any other easy access points.

Not sure about your "30", but the earlier 3054 which is the same tractor except for the engine, has a grease fitting on the throwout bearing carrier inside the clutch housing. It's located behind a removable plate on the right side of the housing. If your unit has this provision, just one pump, then work the clutch so as to distribute the grease along the shaft. If it's still sticky, give it another pump I would suggest no more than two pumps; you don't need grease all over your clutch plates

Thanks for the information. I removed the inspection plate and I could see the bearing carrier. Unfortunately I cannot see the grease fitting. It is very hard to get a good look with the front loader frame that is a little in the way. I will try again with a better light and a small mirror. Do you know if the grease fitting is more at the back end of the carrier (towards the rear). If I can spot it I will try to get a good picture to post because it sounds like I am not the first one to have trouble locating this fitting.

I found it easier to get to the fitting if you have someone depress the clutch untill the zerk appears in the "window" tbn.jpg

Spring is here is Canada and I am going to need my tractor soon. I finally got around to trying to address this problem. I have checked and lubricated all of the linkages and greased the throwout bearing carrier. None of this has made any difference. The clutch pedal still does not return all the way when released. It comes a little past half way point before it stops. It takes about 5 to 10 pounds of pressure to return it. The tractor works fine when I return it manually. Is there anything else I can check before I have to consider splitting the tractor? Any thoughts on what problems with the clutch itself might cause this failure to return? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your input so far.
