2019 Kioti CK2610HST, Ford 1700 (Gone)
Forgive the stupid question, but I'm looking at buying a new CK2610HST in the next week and I've never purchased a new tractor before. Someone here noted to make sure to check any ongoing incentive programs from Kioti, saying dealers do not always tell you about them. So I checked, and found there is an incentive currently underway.

The pricing list provided by the dealer shows $750 discount for paying cash, but nothing for the incentive program. I infer I should be seeing both a discount for paying cash, and another for the Kioti manufacturer's rebate. Is that correct?

He's not showing any labor for the upgrades like adding rear remotes $420, adjustable three point arms $258, and more, so wonder if he'll say (email sent to him) that's where it's reflected. With that approach, I have no idea of the amount of the Kioti incentive on this model. Thanks for any input.....

There once was an upgraded loader program going on.

FYI: Dealer replied with following, but not much to write home about. His website did not have pricing for this model shown.

The pricing on our web site and the quotes include all applicable rebates. They obviously can't be combined with low rate financing or any other programs. It does look like there is an additional $300 rebate available if purchased before March 31st though.

Hard to say. Many dealers - like car dealers - will advertise a lower price, but that already takes into account all rebates/incentives. We have a KIA dealer not far from here that lists their prices as if EVERY possible rebate were applied, even though there is no way to qualify for all - like owner loyalty + first time buyer - can't be both.... Anyway, if they're advertising a special price, it may very well assume all applicable rebates applied, so nothing shady there. You just have to ask. And you have to be very specific and very direct: "I am paying with a check, I want this, this, and that options. Show me the pricing breakdown and comparison if I choose to use Kioti low/0% APR option instead".

We have a member here how was quoted cash price initially and assumed that was what he was paying. Upon delivery & signing papers noticed a difference. That was due to cash price vs 0% finance and the dealer never (shady in my opinion) brought it to his attention that choosing 0% would change purchase price! Just a surprise at delivery. So yes, do your due diligence. A couple simple "OTD price quotes" from competing dealers will confirm if your deal is reasonable - but you won't know every little detail like free delivery, free loaded rear tires, free 1st service, or whatever else each individual dealer does/doesn't do so that's a ballpark sanity check at best.

I had read the other forum member's comments you reference. Thing is around here, I was able to get a couple of quotes from the Kubota dealers, but when I went to one of the Kioti dealers within 50 miles, he sent me to the other. Your advice is a good approach as to the specifics. I guess I'm there with $1050 cash discount and the previously mentioned 'no labor' type installs. I'll be deciding tomorrow whether I want to pay the extra $2k for the Kubota, but as I mentioned in another thread I'm picking this tractor strictly on the ergonomics. Most likely go with Kioti. Thanks, Toukow

Typically, when a dealer quotes a price for an upgrade, that's the installed price. If you were going to DIY, you'd probably buy it on your own as well vs paying dealer markup on whatever it was. Might not be case all the time, but while I was shopping a dealer never said "the fluid to fill your rears is $X and labor to put it in is $Y" or "3rd function is $X, $Y installation fee". Just simply "it costs $X extra for what you just asked for".

If you have a final, negotiated, OTD price from Kioti, you can always hit the Kubota dealer back with the truth - "I'm trying decide between his & yours. There's a $X price gap with yours - how much closer can you get?" Pointless if you already made up your mind that one is better for you than the other, but if price is the main separator, leverage and don't settle for what you don't want for a small price difference.

Good advice on going back to the other dealer. For once in my life, I'm not going to be a 'Do-It-Yourselfer'. The Kubota dealer is including the price of labor, but the Kioti dealer specifically says he is not. But like buying anything, it could be included elsewhere like reduced cash/incentive discount. He's quoted $408 for the dual rear remote hydraulics installed, which I'm guessing is materials only. I'm putting the price list I've received from each in another thread comparing the two which you've commented also, just for reference to newbies like myself who don't have a clue what some of the options cost. It's not really coming down to pricing, and I really want to like the Kubota better, but can't given my size 14's and girlish figure (not).

Thanks for the advice, Toukow
