Kioti DK 5010--Does anyone own one of these? Compare to NX 5010?

I am looking at pulling the trigger on a Kioti 5010 but one of the questions I cannot answer based on web research is whether they come with draft control. I ask because I am planning to do a fair amount of gravel road maintenance and was told to look for this feature. I am looking specifically at the DK 5010s because Kioti is offering aggressive promotions right now and I found a dealer who is willing to cut my some deals on implements which I need for my business. I understand that the NX 5010s have a lot more creature comforts, but the only one I care about at the moment is draft control for the stated reason above.

Any Kioti owners want to chime in here?

I don't think they do.
According to the specs chart on the Kioti website the DK 5010 is only listed with position control.
The NX 5010 is position and draft control

You are correct Vince, after consulting with the dealer I learned that only the NX line currently offers DC. In a previous model lineup, apparently, the DKs did too...

The previous DK's were more the deluxe versions.
What little I've seem of the newer models it appears the newer 10 series DK's are more the base model and the NX are the deluxe versions

Yes, I think you are right. I only recently started learning about Kioti's as the equipment I am most familiar with is the Kubota line. Can you give me your assessment of which (if any) Kubota model the current NX 5010 would compare with? Thanks, Ben

There's plenty I don't know, but the claim that you need draft control to blade a gravel road is one I haven't heard before. Actually, I've been grading my gravel road for 16 years just fine without it. Draft control is useful for tillage work in the field where it helps keep ground engaging implements from digging in too deep. Maintaining a steady grading depth on a road can be facilitated with gauge wheels on whatever blade is being used, but even those aren't a necessity.

Maybe someone else here can validate what you've been told, but I'm otherwise inclined to suggest you've been given some bad advice.

I have to agree! Have never used Draft control on a driveway with a rear blade, box blade or even a land plane so I don't see it as a needed function for most. Now if you plan on plowing some fields everything changes.

My tractor has draft control and I've never used it for grading with a back blade or box blade.

I'm not familiar enough with the new models to know for sure.
I guessing the 5010 NX fits somewhere between Kubota L series and Grand L series 50 HP models as far as features
