Really looking hard at Kioti
Well, I am retiring early next spring and have started the "weeding out" process. Kioti is one that I am looking at and I have visited Ranmar Tractor Supply in Pulaski NY. Can anyone give me any info on this dealer? I have spoken to him several times and he is not very flexable. Here's the price and it makes no difference if it is cash or credit. He gave me a price of 18,600 for a CK20h with Fel/BH. Any advice for a first time wannabe? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

That doesn't sound all that bad. I was quoted $18,500 at another dealer in NY for the same set-up. G

Seems a little high to me. Just a few months ago I purchased a LK3054XS TLB with Bush Hog Box Scraper for $20,000. Labs not included. One dealer refused to budge even $1.00. He said it in a way that I would not have bought a wheelbarrow from him.
I would think California is as high as NY.
Good Luck.

It sounds a little high. I had recently priced both locally and via the internet ck20hst tlb came in around 17,500 - 18,000.

A couple of areas that provided some of the price difference was what size bh bucket size, bh pads (extra at some dealers), tire types, and delivery charges. As indicated here before do you like the dealer. That is the one part of the purchase that makes a good or bad deal regardless of price.

Good Luck

In January, I paid $16,681.00 for Tractor loader backhoe and boxblade (not including sales tax). Of course, that was in Florida. I wouldn't think it should cost you $2K more. John
Check out my dealer at www.bigtractorsupply.com he could probably ship to you and still save you some money. John

I wonder if the dealer might lower the price if you were ready to take delivery right away. Maybe he knows you won't buy for one year and wants to give himself a cushion for price increases. Just a guess!

Mary and Randy are consistent. I bought my ck20 from them for about $17000 with fel, york rake, rear blade, rear mower and dump box (no BH). The BH is a a big extra cost item. I'm guessing at least $2500 or way more. I checked the dealer in Cicero, ny. He was slightly less but he never heard of using rimguard in the tires and told me that tranporting of tractor for service would be $100 extra for each service. Randy will pick up and deliver for my services for almost nothing. Mary & Randy threw in several little extras at no charge and were totally up front and honest in my deal and stayed flexible as I changed my mind several times on my extra implements. I've called several times with questions and they have always given me time freely with good advice. (Saved me $$ in the possess.) The whole deal was a great experience and I felt they were giving me their best deal right at the beginning. FYI: shipping tractors into NYS from NC costs a lot more than other states as good ole NYS has some crazy high fees on trucking into NYS. Lots of southern truckers won't touch a load bound for NYS cause they refuse to pay the riduculous NYS fees, thus fewer "I'll go to NYS" truckers and higher shipping costs. I think the price is fair. Personally I picked Ranmar as a dealership (They have a good rep. with other dealers like White Tractors.) as much as the CK as the product. Just my two cents. Good luck in your shopping. Burt
PS I know Redfield black flies are as bad as Altmar black flies. How's the fishing at the upper reservoir?

Thanks to everyone for your input. Burtalm's comments made me feel better as one thing I have learned after endless hours of reading on TBN is the importance of the dealer. Sooo, I will be talking to Ranmar when I get back in July on vacation . When I "pull the trigger" I will post pictures. Again "thanks". /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Back in February I contacted both Ranmar and Gary's Equipment in Cicero for a quote on a CK20 with FEL, at that time Gary's was $1000 less. Burtalm is right on the rimguard issue though, they acted like they'd never heard of it.
