Kioti Curved Loader Prototype?

I drove by this old tractor a couple of weeks ago and I just had to go back and get a couple of pictures for you guys. I'd never seen curved arm loader before I came across the Kioti CK series. I guess it’s a much older design than I imagined.

Those sure seem to predate New Holland and Kioti by a long shot. Looks like it may have been home made. Interesting.

The most interesting thing to me.....
It isn't made out of pipe. Most loaders of that era were pipe loaders. A pipe would have been easy to do, the design seen here would have been more work I would think. Would be nice to know more background.

I can go back and get a few more pictures and ask around. It looks like it could be on either of two farms, one active one inactive. I didn't get the impression it was home made until after KJ mentioned it........and it does look like it could be. I agree Kiohio if it was indeed homemade it was quite an undertaking.

I have seen other antique tractors with curved arms. Here is a picture of one manufacured bu Davis.

That was actually why I first thought it was homemade as most MFG ones I'd ever seen were pipe.

That other curved loader is almost certainly made especially for the Ford tractor it's on. Many those curves are sweet. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
