Kioti CS2510 Sub-Compact - Price Check and Thoughts

Hello all - new to the forum, and first tractor purchase. Buying for 3.4 acres we're building on this year, and have determined this model will meet our needs.

We have a price quote of $11,764 for a Kioti CS2510 with R4 tires / 4WD Hydro and $2,286 for a SL2410 FEL w/48" bucket and grill guard for a total of $14,050 before tax at 0% for 60mos. Looks like MSRP is $14,882 making this 5.6% off MSRP. Any thoughts on the pricing? Kioti is also running a promo to extend the powertrain warranty 2 additional years to 6 years total.

Also, our house won't be ready until Sept/Oct, but I was trying to get ahead of the 2-3% price increase in February as well as take advantage of 0% knowing there's a chance it won't be around. For those who have been following Kioti or tractor pricing for awhile, would you make the move to purchase now if we have somewhere to store it, or would you wait?

I would compare an LS MT125 to it. For about $2000 more you can have a backhoe too. Or very similar machine for less.

Very small machine....if primary purpose is going to be mowing look at cost of adding the mid-mount mower. Sometimes those are close in price to ZTR. Additionally, if it is going to double as a mower - whether that's mid-mount or finish mower for 3 pt - may as well buy that with the tractor and roll it all together. Stuff bought with the tractor is generally discounted by the dealer and ends up costing a lot less vs buying it a la carte later after the initial purchase.

Be aware Kioti's 0% finance isn't a real thing. Purchase price is inflated roughly 5-6%. If you were to ask for a cash price quote, expect it to be $800ish less vs the 0% financed price. Free loader rebate is a real thing but don't know if they ever run it on machines that size. If they do but it's not currently running, might make sense to wait and see if it rolls around before you must purchase.

Edit to add....your warranty clock starts ticking the day machine is delivered. While 9-10 months might not be a real big deal vs a 6 year powertrain, it is a big deal for the 24 months "bumper-to-bumper" (forget what it's called, but beyond just powertrain), and it is very considerable vs a 12 month loader warranty. FEL are covered under their own separate warranty so the 6 yrs, 2 yrs, whatever on the tractor don't apply to loader. AFAIK all brands are 1 year on the loader. LS and Kioti definitely are. So you'd have to evaluate if $350ish is worth basically have no loader warranty at all.

Thanks - sounds like another option may be a used 2013 CK2510 with 100 hrs. Nice clean unit. 3 point, folding ROPS, grill guard, PTO, detachable front loader with paint still in the bucket for around $9-$10K?

Unless you needed the tiny size, yes the CK would do a little more due to larger tires, more weight, more clearance. Might be harder to fit in garage.....

Not sure where you are located, but my LS dealer in Ft Collins CO. Is selling a brand new MT125 with loader AND backhoe for $14,500 out the door. That's a fantastic price. He says he has 2 of them.

I am in Ohio. I just got a quote for MT125 with a loader is $12,900.00 and the XJ2025H with loader is $14,900.00, before tax (6.75%). That would be at 2.99% interest.

That is about the same as what the local LS dealer is selling them for. He has a MT125 with loader, backhoe and mid-mount mower for $17,500. That CK2510 sounds like a good deal though. It is a nice tractor and the additional size and weight over the smaller 25 hp tractors is noticeable if you are doing more than mowing with it. The CK2510 outweighs the XJ2025 by about 600 lbs. It is a very solid tractor. As bugs would say: Lots of I-ron in that one!

So, I'm thinking I'm going to go the route of the used 2013 CK2510 for around $9-10K. Dealer gave me a quote of $19K out the door for a new one with 0%, and I can get a 3.74% 72mo loan on the used one through my local credit union.

Sounds like that would be hard to beat. That should leave room in the budget to pick up attachments as you need them.
