Buying Advice Kioti CK3510 TLB

Just sold my 13 JD 1025R TLB in hopes of getting a larger tractor. Came across a 16 CK3510 TLB for $19k. On paper this is a much more capable tractor than my 1025 plus, again on paper, it is much more capable than the Deere and Kubota of the same size. In particular, loader lift capacity, 1800lbs vs most other tractors this size being 1200 lbs. Is my research correct?

The main reasons going to a larger tractor, are faster backhoe and more loader lift capacity.

I have almost no knowledge of the Kiotis. Any drawbacks? They seem like a no feels, no nonsense tractor, I like that. The particular tractor I am looking at is a gear trans vs the hydro, I want gear drive.

You are comparing apples and oranges. Your JD was a sub compact tractor and the Kioti is a compact. It will be more capable in real life as well as on paper. The only drawback I could see (for me) with Kioti in general would be distance to dealer, about a hundred miles. I went Kubota. I stayed below 25 hp and avoided the Tier IV add ons. For backhoe and loader work a hydrostatic transmission probably makes more sense than aa regular gear transmission. If you have a choice four wheel drive is a good option.

Dang, you live in NW-GA and don't own a Yanmar? That' the area where they are made in the USA.

The CK3510 is a very capable machine. There is no comparison to the 1025. I had an LS MT125 tlb (similar size / capability to the 1025). I sold it and purchased an LS XG3025 tlb (very similar to the Kioti CK2610). There is no comparison of capabilities.... the 3025 is SOOOO MUCH BETTER! You would NOT be disappointed with the Kioti. I had a hard time deciding between the LS and the Kioti.

That’s a pretty decent price for the 3510. How many hours? Is it beat or well taken care of? Is it from a dealer or individual? Make sure all the services have been done.

Oh, by the way, I also went with a gear version. No loss of PTO power from the HST. 12 speeds forward, 12 reverse. Pros and cons to both versions.

I owned a JD1026R a few years ago. I now have a Kioti CK3510SE. As others have said, there is no comparison between the two. I owned a Gen 1 2025R prior to getting the Kioti. The CK3510 & 2025R are similar frame size, but there is no comparison in the capabilities of those two machines. I have no complaints on the Kioti.

I have the CK3510SE - so far it's been a great unit - was going to get another Kubota until I compared them went with the Kioti pleased I did class to class the lift capacity, weight and overall operational comfort suited me much better......
