I've priced a new CK3510 for $19,300 cash price. That's more than I was wanting to spend but I found a 2016 a few hours away with under 100 hours that I can buy for several thousand less. I guess my question is are there any significant differences between the 2016 models and the new ones?

The new ones I've seen recently have the stronger KLH4030 loader. Make sure your dealer included that and I'd check to see if the used one does.

I am new to tractor ownership which means the only experience I have so far is shopping for deals and used machines. The CK3510 was a new model in 2015 so they should be similar. I found that used tractor ads did not represent the machines well. The 2016 may be an SE model which would have bonus features over a straight 3510. It might have rear remotes not mentioned. The 2016 unit should at least have the 4010 or 4020 loader but check. In Canada, Kioti started offering an extended warranty for machines sold after Sept 1. In any case a 2016 will have some warranty left.
Obviously, ask about service records, warranty issues, leaks, damage. Confirm that they have the owner's manual, and maybe a service manual - bonus. Ask them who is the sevicing dealer and then call the service department to see what they think.
All in all, a well maintained 2016 may be a great deal!

Oh, photograph the serial number when you go look at it. With the serial number, any dealer can look up it's warranty service record and you can do an online lean check to see if it is clear title or financed. These two checks gave me more confidence in what I was buying.
When considering new and used consider the price difference in terms of use on old machine, and warranty. People tend to over value a warranty, but end of the day 3 more years of warranty is worth something, just depends if its worth it to you. Like said above when comparing, are you comparing spec to spec.
