Kioti CK30 or LK3054

Have been saving for years and want a new shuttle shift compact 4x4 in 25hp to 30hp range, with FEL. Found a CK30 and LK3054 at seperate nearby dealers. I believe specs on CK30 are better, but LK3054 is $1000 less.

Need tractor clearing woods at home and at South Georgia hunting property.

The ck is rated to lift more with a FEL but has 1/2 hp less at PTO (probably insignificant). The CK has more extra add ons I believe. For the extra $1,000, I would definately go with the CK

What specific questions would you like us to offer?
Are you talking about the LK3054 or LK3054XS? The former is an older version, the XS has some nice improvements.
I prefer the curved hood of the CK30, but both tractors are very strong tractors. As mentioned, the CK30 offers more features such as the telescoping hitch arms and stabilizers, tilt wheel, a more roomy platform. I suppose it just depends on which you like better.
I've seen some pretty old 3054's out there that have been well-abused that are still doing great. Of course, it'll be a while before I can say that about the CK30 as it only came out in 2004.

I have a CK30 and its a GREAT machine, I wouldnt trade it for any of the Big 3.

I will get one shot at this and want to make the best choice, one time. Even the wife stated "don't save a penny today, to spend a dollar tommorow". Can you believe it, she wants me to buy a tractor.
We built a house on 8 acres of thick woods near the Santa Fe River in North Florida, which needs to be cleared. The land was a cotton field with big Live Oaks, but is over grown now. Need FEL for 120 yards of dirt i bought.
Just spoke with my dad who just test drove CK30 and CK25. He was very impressed and picked CK25. I think I need the extra 5hp on the CK30 for a brush cutter.

Much as I love my LK3054, I'd be tempted for $1000 to go for the CK30. In the end, the CK30 won't have any significant additional capability to do any particular project, but you do get telescopic lift arms and a synchro on the shuttle, so it depends on how hard it is to reach for the extra grand. I went with "bang for the buck", but then the CK30 wasn't out yet when I bought mine.
