I am nearing a decision on my first tractor for an 11.5 acre (flat, 10% lawn 90% meadow, .25 mile gravel driveway) property I purchased. I plan to get FEL, MM or finish mower, brush hog, grater or box blade (need to decide which I need), and snow plow (or rear blade if I feel cheap). I have narrowed it down to Kubota B2650 HST or Kioti CK2610 HST. Both are around $14.5K base + FEL and implements. Similar financing currently available (0 @ 72 for Kioti or 0 @ 60 Kubota).

B2650 - Dealer at 29 miles, good interaction. I like that I get a MMM and have always been attracted to the Kubota brand. Dealer slightly closer.

CK2610 - Dealer at 50 miles, good interaction. This seems like their 3510 "in disguise" and detuned to meet the EPA reqs. I like the extra weight and PTO power, sort of disappointed about no MMM but my land is flat with no trees to move around, only need maneuverability by my house itself and a play structure, so finish mower should work. I should read more about MMM vs finish mowers at some point.

Curious for your thoughts, snarky comments, and considerations! I searched for older posts and only saw comparisons for CK2510 which I dont think compares well to B2650. I read the following post which did help:http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kioti-buying-pricing/352126-have-you-seen-new-ck2610.html

Have you checked out Kubota's L2501? Also a bigger heavier machine that's been detuned to meet hp/emission regs.

I just bought a Kioti and really love the machine. But basic spare parts like oil filters and fuel filters are not easily accessible. I only say this because the Kubota parts always just seem more available and when needed are a 1 day or 2 day delivery away. Not so with Kioti parts. Just something to think about.

I'll have to disagree with the filters not being easily accessible. Wix/Napa website lists all the filter numbers and can be easily purchased locally. Wix/Napa Gold would be just as good or likely better than oem.

Thanks for the tip, for some reason going up the L series seemed like a jump but I guess it is really the more comparable model. It looks like the L2501 is slightly more expensive than the CK2601 but I'll have to look at the specs. It looks like there are a few forum conversations on these models too so those will be good for me to check out.

Really.
I walk into the local Napa and walk out with oil and fuel filters.
Or I simply go online and have complete OEM filters kits (oil, fuel, air, hydraulic) sent to my door in a couple days.

Yes Indeed. I have gone online to ebay and ordered a complete Kioti filter kit twice now; both times the ordered was rejected as out of stock and unable to fill the order in timely (one month) manner. I did not think of NAPA and will visit them tomorrow morning.

I ordered my last set of filters (OEM kit) for my 2001 DK 35 off of Ebay and had them within days.
My DK 35 takes a Napa 1324 Oil and 3507 fuel filter. Nearly always on stock, worst case - next day.

I don't even see the CK 4010 listed on the Wix filter lookup site, nearly every other Kioti model is listed.

The CK 4010 oil filter (E6201-32443) crosses to a Wix 51324 or Napa 1324 oil filter.
Fuel filter F6800-16411 = not listed on the Wix site.
