CK25HST
Hi all, First post...

Just purchased a 2008 Kioti CK25HST from a local dealer. Serial number is E70200311. How do you determine the year and date of manufacture??

I have "googled" all options I can think of...

I am suspicious of the date as all plastic/rubber parts and rims are faded. As if it has been in the sun awhile...

Thanx, Steve

Check the date stamps on the wheels, Steve. The tire dates of manuf
could be older.

I can't help you with the date, but welcome to the pack. I think you will love your tractor. I've had my CK25HST for three years now and it has never failed me on any task.

Hello all...I am new here and glad I found this board. Thanks.
I purchased a new 2008 Koiti CK25HST in 11-20-08. I too don't know if it is a 2007 or 2008. The dealer told me it was a 2008 model. I checked the net and the owners manual says the fuel tank filler is in the rear of the driver's seat. My filler is a door on top of the hood. Is this the case with the 2007 or 2008?
I took notice to this because today 11-27-08, I filled the tank for the first time and while putting the fuel in and making a can adjustment the plastic extension, approx. 8" long can off the can and fell in the tank. (Brilliant). Does anyone have ideas how to retrieve this item from the tank? Before I have the tank removed, I thought I would remove the fuel and put a vacuum in the take but I'm not sure of the tank's shape. Also, would any damage occur if I used the tractor while I figure this out. BTW, great tractor.
Thanks in advance...

I'd get a grabber from an auto parts store. It is a long piece of what looks like throttle cable with a T handle on one end and 4 fingers on the other end. You push the button on the T handle and the fingers open, fish around and when you feel something release the button and the fingers will grab the item. I've used one for years to get items I've dropped when working on vehicles.

Thanks ToadHill and IXLR8,
I will try all recommendations til I can get this out. I did try the coat hangar but will try again.
BTW, the tire stickers, still on the tires are dates 6-28-08.
Thanks,
MikePal

I would think no issue operating with piece in. Remote chance it would perfectly clog the intake.

The fingergrabber is the best way to get out, they work good.

Good luck,
Joel

Hello Joel and thanks. I will probably leave it in. I'm concerned the grabber might hit the float and mess up my gauge.
