I am considering purchasing a CK20HST including MMM (rear discharge) KMR03-60-MM and front loader KL120. Has anyone experienced or heard of any problems with this machine, MMM or loader? Thanks very much.

I think you want to talk with Kioti John about a CK20 . I believe that is what he owns and runs .He even wear kioti underwear ! Don't ask how I know ! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I can tell you that I sure have been satisfied with my DK45 TLB . Kioti builds a good strong unit . Good Luck and welcome to the group.

I purchased CK20 HST w/FEL back in february and have been very pleased with the tractor. I looked at JD and kubota but found the Kioti to be a more rugged machine for less money. No problems so far and the compact size works great for me. Does a great job moving dirt and real handy for cutting between the planted pines. Good Luck

I think the mid mount would be almost impossible to mount at several hundred pounds. Maybe a broken back would result?
With a pull behind you can easier mount/ dismount implement and get to back up into places you couldnt get otherwise.
My free opinion to you. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I agree I perfer the rear mount mower myself, but the Mid Mounts around that hard to take on and off. The wheels turn sideways on the deck so you can easily roll it out from under the tractor, provided you have a flat surface for working on.

I have the exact same setup and I am quite pleased with it. I have gotten the hookup/removal of the MMM down to 15/20 mins. A concrete pad to remove the MMM is must or you will really struggle. The gear box won't quite clear the underbelly when sliding it out. If the loader is attached then use it to lift the front end up or a set of car ramps if the loader is off. Only 4 pins hold the deck in place and I can reach from behind the tractor to unhook the PTO, long arms /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I lean it up against a wall when not in use. The MMM allows me to get right up to any building/object. The RFM is nice for open spaces but not for mowing around stuff. I use it to bush hog also. I don't lower the deck and I move along slowly. HST comes in handy for creeping/moving slowly

I do, indeed, own a CK20HST that I purchased in Jan. 04, nearly 350 hours trouble free so far.
I do know that some owners have had issues with the MMM, i.e. on the side discharge, too much material coming from the front and clogging the radiator too quickly, and on the rear discharge, the pully being rather small and having problems keeping the belt on.
Also, pinning the mower up when not in use has sometimes been a problem for some.
Now, all of that may have been corrected by this time, but those issues have come up, and my dealer had to send some back due to those problems.
As for the tractor, depending on your needs, you may wish to go up to the CK25 for a lot of extras that the CK20 doesn't have. I've been on nearly every Kioti model, and have, several times, been on the CK25 and find it to be very strong and useable. Some say (only non-owners)it is underpowered for the frame size, but I don't agree.
I do an awful lot with my CK20, but if I were buying today, I'd go with either the CK25 or 30 for the extra power and features.

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I was concerned about the MMM as I heard of a guy whose new MMM fell off his 2005 CK20 machine during operation. Was checking for any similar occurences among you all. Perhaps he got the one lemon? In any event I think we will take our chances, Thanks again!

I would sway more towards the 3 pt mower, it is cheaper and easier to put on and off.
If you do get a rear discharger mmm make sure you have a air compressor to keep the grass blown off the rearend housing outherwise it will be like having insulation stuffed under there.
It will make your hydro fliud heat up.
