Thanks for all the feed back in regards to the trailer. I decided to go with a 5x14 dual axle with elc. brakes. Should work perfect for my truck and the tractor I get.

Things I have learned from the follow ups

The CK20 has a better fel and lifts higher, The B7500 hold thier value more then the CK20. I have yet to read a negtive posting about Kioti and have seen a very few bad thing said about the B7500 but I understand there are many more out there then the CK20. Also have to weigh the nut factor (people who beat the tractor). I'm still on edge about which to go with. but I'm leaning toward Korea.

One last question. from my boating days, less weight more speed. With both tractor with equal HP one would think the lighter one would get more power to the wheels when the going gets tuff? Any thoughts

I don't think you could go wrong with the Kioti. The gearing is low enough to make the weight not be a negative factor, in fact, the more weight the better. In most cases you'll run out of traction before running out of power. The additional weight aids in traction. Go get it......

Actually, for many operations I find it more important that I can slow my hydro tractor down to a crawl. I guess if you had to drive a long distance, top speed might matter, but I don't think any of the CUT's are going to differ that much in top speed. And I would venture to say that it's more related to gearing than to tractor weight.

I would think that if two tractors were nearly equal in all other aspects except gearing, I would desire to have the one with the lowest gearing. But I've got a small property so even in low at idle I can make it across in about a minute. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I don't know much about the Kioti tractors, but I would think that if it too has a 2 range hydro, it's probably pretty comparable to the Kubota.

Good Luck on your decision making process...and remember...either one you select is a nice choice. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I also read somewhere that Kubota spec's their tractors at shipping weight -- no wheels or fluids considered. If that's the case, could be the two are about equal weight.
