Kioti and LS?

I was just browsing the local classifieds for tractors, a habit that's hard to break after buying a tractor, and noticed an LS tractor at the local dealer. It struck me how similar it was in appearance to the CK series. Maybe there's nothing to that, but there's no way that the bucket on the LS and my CK 30 are made by different companies. I know they're both out of Korea, is there some kind of partnership between them now, or are they just sourcing the same parts. I thought that Daedong did all the design and engineering for their tractors, how many other parts are just bought off the shelf at the local Korean version of Magna?

Also possible that the loaders are put on here, once they arrive? Also, likely the same source, there or here. Not too surprising really.

There is a Canadian company that makes front snow blades and snow blowers and paints them orange, red, etc.

I know Sicma makes the RFM that Kioti decals, but also sells it under First Choice and other names.

It's a brave new global world, for sure.

The Front Loaders are similar, but KIOTI Tractor (Daedong) and LS Tractors are completely different manufacturers.

Man, those sure do look alike to me also.

The main top arm is curved on the red one and straight on the blue one. I guess most manufacturers have to use the same logarithm to get the leverages right so there is very little difference between any of them.

After commenting on the similarity of design between my Kubota and Kioti my dealer advised that the actual design of the tractors is probably undertaken by an independent design consultant firm.
