Kioti 3504 with a few issues

Just bought a new to me Kioti 3504, it has a couple issues, first it has a pretty significant oil leak from the power steering pump, I haven't taken the dash off yet but a buddy of sez it probably is a seal and will have to rebuild the pump, has anyone had this problem and is it difficult to repair, fairly handy shade tree mech, also the pto is engaged and will not release, you can move the handle and there is no resistance at all, checked it where it goes into the case and no resistance there, any help appreciated.

New? Under warranty? Get the dealer to fix it. A similar power steering issue was discussed previously and I think the dealer finally replaced the whole power steering unit because the internal parts weren't available. Why risk invalidating your warranty?

My LK3504 has developed a leak from under the steering wheel. Drips hyrdo fluid on my feet. Does this sound like your problem? From google research, there are a couple of seals in the steering column that can be replaced. I'm going to work through a summer landscaping project before tearing into it. Good luck with it and please post any hints.

Found a diagram of the steering, looks like there is a oil seal on the column just above the box and there's one on the side where the Pittman arm connects, the oil on mine is running up the steering column and coming out the top, I suspect the seal on the column, got to figure out how to take it apart, may can just taking off the steering wheel nut and pull the column up, not sure,, mine wife sez it's the old nut holding the steering wheel.
