I've read several threads that say the King Kutter tiller is not Quick Hitch compatible. Well, I don't know if it's just mine, but everything lined up fine. Had to loosen the back bolt and slide the collar back a touch but that is all it took.

I guess we can dispel that myth now.

Mine BARELY won't fit on one of the lift arm pins with the CAT 3 bushings on. It seems to be mostly working without the bushings. It hangs from the top link & the lift pins are a bit off the lift arm hooks.

The design should be compatible, but my tiller has some sloppy welds or bad tolerances. They should make the ears for the pins 1/4" or 1/2" longer and remove the possibility of issues.

I have the 5' KK just like that but the space between the lower links and the actual tiller frame isn't that large. I can barley get the hooks on the lower links w/o the cat 3 spacers like you have. Now mine is about 10 to 12 years old so it may have changed?
I want to get a 6' unit and I stopped by TSC today at lunch, and all of the new Country Line units have a tag on them manufactured by Tarter made in the USA, the 5' one had a tag that said QH compatible but the 4' and 6' didn't but you can tell they are made exactly the same way and are QH compatible there must be a sticker either hidden or in the parts package they weren't completely assembled. I will be getting one of those 6' ers, I really like them there isn't closed in spaces on the top for water and dirt to accumulate in like on the KK models were.

If a member here on TBN says his KK will not fit his QH, I consider that truth, rather than myth.

Congratulations that yours fits.

Couldn't see your photo earlier (think photos were messed up on all of TBN for a bit)... But on yours there is at least a 1/2" gap or so between the QH hook & tiller frame. On one side of mine, it's barely 1/8" & -1/8" on the other. I really need to get some photos, but it will probably be a week or 2 before I have reason to hook it up again.

I really want to like the KK tiller, very good price & otherwise great reviews for an economy piece of equipment. It just drives me nuts that better build quality, or an extra 1/2" of clearance on the design & it would be just fine.

I know what you mean. I'm kinda OCD about stuff like that too. Makes ya wonder, if they can't locate the pins accurately, what else did they not quite get right??
