King Kutter Box Blade ?

I'm looking for a good affordable box blade, found a 6 ft KK at Rural king for 619$ seems to be a good price, they also have a King Kutter Pro but only had it in an 84" didn't know if anyone knew the difference between the Pro models vs the regular? Was wandering if they just painted the Pro models to match the Rural King tractors. Anyone have any complaints out of their KK boxes?

I bought a 60 inch KK Pro model 3 years ago. I paid $550. The Pro model is built stronger. It has the support arm ( 2"x2" sq. tube )that attaches from the top link frame to the top of the back of the box. I use it hard, as the soil we have is rocky and hard...no complaints !

I have the 60" KK BB model that was heavier built like the Pro but did not have the back support arm as they do now. They no longer make this model but it has worked great for me.

I bought my KK BB through RK but the best part for me was that I drove 12 miles to the factory and picked it up, thus NO shipping fees.

Can only speak for the pro model and if their standard model is close to the pro you won't be disappointed. By the way I just checked and their site says they have both in stock.

Thanks everyone, looks like I would have to order it through the store and wait until they get another shipment from KK. I think I would rather go with the Pro version might one day upgrade to a 55 or 60HP tractor hopefully

This is what I have only in the 60 inch size. Have you checked other RK stores to see if they have it ?

Yes all the stores within an hour and a half. One has 5ft another has 7 ft. No one has the 6ft. Thought about getting the 7 ft give me motivation to upgrade horsepower one day just not sure how it would do with a 40HP tractor. Mainly for driveway maintenance and grading parts of the farm

I would get the 6' one. My CK 27 with 28 hp does well with the 5'. You must remember that if the box gets full will your tractor still pull with that load.

I pull a KK 6ft. behind my LS XR4155 - I went with a 6 ft. because I wanted something as wide as my tractor. I didn't see a major benefit to stepping up to a 7 ft. for the work I had planned and they were special order locally.

I bought mine last year and the most recent design is built pretty well for the price point in my opinion. Mine is labeled as just King Kutter and is similar in design to the pro model in the link above. It looks like there may be one additional tube bar running from the top of the back up to the 3 point connection but I don't foresee any issues with what I have. The KK unit runs $639.99 and I waited for a sale at my local retailer that knocked off 10%.
