My 3 year old daughter was sitting on my lap as I scolled through those photo's.
She asked "Daddy what are they doing?",
my response "keeping us safe, pumpkin."
"Why?" she asked
"Because they love us, honey", I choked
"Daddy, we love them too!"

Man, I have a lump in my throat now. God bless all those that fight to keep us safe.
