Greetings All
I am new to posting here, but not new to the site. After 6 months of research and many hours reading this board, I have taken the plunge. I ended up going to Mark at KC Canary in Fultonville, NY after getting a bit of a run around from the dealer in Oneonta, NY. Mark set me up with a 4310 eHydro, 430 loader, 47 backhoe, rear mount mower, and loaded turfs. All this for just about a $1,000 over what the other dealer wanted for the same set up on a 4300 he had left on the lot. I'm just glad I went to KC Canary to make the purchase. So far they seem to be a class act, and that is very important to me since this will be my first real tractor. I will try to post some pics when the tractor is in my yard.
Thanks
Mark

Congratulations Mark. KC is a fine dealer who will make sure all your needs are met. They were the ones I purchased my JD 4710 from last year and I couldn't be more satisfied.

Hello Rancar
I just checked out your barn restoration project. That is some impressive work you have done there. I just bought an 1840's old post and beam house with a small attached barn. I don't have as much work in front of me as you did, but there is plenty to do. Just hope I can do as nice a job as you did.
Mark

Hi Mark...

Thanks for your kind remarks. My barn renovation project seems like a never ending 'love affair' with old buildings. The barn project was started in 1984 with most of the renovation completed between then and 1986. Since then, it's been continuous restoration of one element or another of the barn. Last 2 years I painted it once again including the roof, had a new roof put on the cupola, and did some re-siding of clapboard on the barn's south side where the 100+ year old clapboard was just getting too far gone to save. This year I'll be working on rebuilding some of the window sashes.

That's a mighty fine old building you have there yourself. It appears to be of Greek Revival architectural style. I have the same lines on my house which also is a pre-Civil War post and beam home. Renovation work on the house was done from 1986-1990 and is still on-going as I try to bring back the interior to its original state of construction. This is enjoyable work....well worth it when I stand back after work is completed. It just provides a certain sense of satisfaction. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Post pics of that 4310 when it comes in. JJC is correct....you're going to love that set-up and he knows what he's talking about.....more so than anyone thinks.
