Is'nt it ironic when you find a piece of equipment that you want and need that when you call, their posted price is "no good". I contacted Kaddatz Equipment in Hillsboro to try to purchase a pop up bale loader. Their website states the price for a new Cherokee is $1295. Well, I got to speak to Mr. Kaddatz himself. I told him the price he had posted and got the old "Well, if that's the price on there it must be a misprint." I told him my whole life was full of misprints and that I wanted to purchase it. Guess what? That one was sold. Of course, it was sold, cause it was marked wrong. My guess is that it was just outside the back door. Kaddatz Equipment is located just outside Hillsboro, Tx. My advice would to confirm you price and availability before making the drive if you plan to purchase something from them.

Thanks

Have you ever been to Kaddatz's place? I have. Interesting place, but I've never bought anything there.:D

I had to go there back in June after having no luck at all finding a good used hay rake locally. Everything around here is made either for cotton farmers or to handle 50 feet of hay at a time. I need things that can go through horse pasture gates.

Anyway, I called this place and he had several old NH side delivery rakes which were perfect for me and so we got directions and hit the road. My wife was dragging her tail getting out the door and that put us nearly an hour behind right at the beginning. About 6 hours later my wife and navigator woke up and loudly told me we missed our turn. Another delay. We had a big trailer behind the truck and I didn't feel like messing with the off ramp so we just took a Uturn right there in the highway and went on back. We were running late now and kaddatz was about to close. My wife called and told them we were running behind and they said they'd stay for us. We ended up getting there an hour and a half late and I was surprised to find not only the owner had waited for us but so did several of his workers. We all went out in the field and picked out a rake and then went to pay for it with Mr. Kaddats. He was very nice to us with the whole deal and I was very happy. COuld you imagine how ticked I'd have been if they had closed after driving so long?

They have a LOT of stuff there on that lot. It's over a mile long and at least as deep. If you are an antique lover you will feel like you've died and gone to heaven. I'm definitely going back. I'm just saving my pennies. That guy saved my tail when I needed a hay rake and everyone around here just ignored me because I'm a small farmer. My money is still just as green as the owner of the 10,000 acres next door though. I'd rather give it to someone like Mr. Kaddatz who will wait go the extra mile for his customers.
