Comparison Kabota engine in CT235

A local dealer is advertising a Bobcat CT235 tractor with loader for $16k and change. He says it has a Kabota engine in it. I thought they had Daedong engines in them.

The ad appears to be wrong, Kubota used to provide some engines to BobCat for things years ago, but Daedong absolutely builds the Kioti/BC tractors, in total.

He mentioned a 'local dealer'. That machine could be on a green, red or blue lot. Kubota does supply Bobcat with engine for the skid steers but not tractors.

Yep. Sounds like a mix up. Some BC skidsteers have Kubota engines. But not the CT tractors. They are all Daedong.

I dunno, it seems the Bobcat boys up here has figured out really well how to sell Bobcats. You would find it hard to beleive how many of the the landscpe guys here are making the switch to Bobcat

The "Bobcat boys" figured out how to sell me one also. As far as I can tell they didn't lie about a single thing either. My ct335 is a great little tractor at a great price. It is powered by a Daedong 3B183 engine.The ct235 uses a Daedong 3A165 I believe.
