We have had the same bear coming by our house for the past three years. It has gotten bigger and also smarter. Loves our bird feeders and has figured out how we have them installed.
You can see that he was smart enough to shake the cable instead of trying to jump up and grab the feeders. It is hard to believe a 400 plus pound bear would make a meal on 3 or 4 pounds of bird seed.

I weigh 220 and only eat a quarter pounder.

Nice pics. Thanks.

Nice pictures. We had our first encounter last weekend. Bear destroyed three bird feeders and bent 2 good size shepherds hooks.

also did the same to a couple of neighbors. I have replaced the feeders and put up the game camera but so far he/she has not been back.

That pink watchbird didn't scare him off!:D

I'd say he's about the right size to turn into meat and a rug or blanket.

Probably good eating since he's a grain-fed bear. ;-)

 If I saw that in my yard, the "camera" would be my Remington .308!

Bear is good eating but they need to be opened and cooled very quickly. With that hide and body fat the meat goes rancid in a hurry.
