Just got my JD 4120 with mower

Hi Al,
While I have an old 2940, because of a hip replacement and not able to sit in a low mower, I got a John Deere 4120 with a belly mower. I've used it and it mows really nice. I also used it for pulling my IH 550 manure spreader.

I really like the hydrostatic transmission.

I live in Tennessee on a small farm.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with owning a toy magnet. Only the uninitiated consider that to be a character defect. If you get pushback from the wife, just remind her it is much better than owning a bar-fly magnet.:drink:

Exactly, that's what I tell her. I can't believe how much smoother the 4120 is over my old 2940. Doesn't have the power, but it definitely easier to drive.
