just got 2002 4310!!!!!!!!!!!!! yea baby!

well i did it after lurkin here over a year {and e-bay] i found this 1 half hour away! its an 02 4310 with hydro, 681 f.e.l.,290hours, came with a 5 foot york rake,7foot grader and a brush hog /with new top link in wrapper! he wanted 19k i e-mail him 15k offer and we settled at 17k. of course i couldnt afford it but always wanted 1! im in the catskill mtns.n.y., have 4 acres straight up! i wanna cut a road up to a clearing bout 4 or 500 feet up,cut banks back,make a few bucks etc. how"d i do!!! i ll fill in the profile when i figure out how. special thanx to all and harry goodwrench! k tanx!!! p.s. next comes a bhoe prob. get a woods 9000 but hopin a prairiedog 10.5 could work[sub-frame of course]. k! tanx again its an awesome tractor!!!

Catskillman,

Congratulations on your purchase. I spent a year with a Deere 4200; looked hard at a 4410 before I decided they were bigger than I need. Great machines.

I do wonder why you posted your note in the Kubota section. Unless Kubota came out with a 4310 when I wasn't looking, your tractor is a Deere. You might get more response posting it in the Deere forum.

Have fun with your new tractor. It sounds great.

Just to keep everyone suitably confused, JD and Kubota have overlapping model numbering. The previous generation 10 series of Kubota "Grand L" CUTs went from 3010 to 4610. I'm pretty sure Catskillman's got the 43hp orange model in that line... which is a really nice tractor.

Congrats on the new tractor! It sounds like you are ready to work! As for your profile, it's quite easy. There is a link towards the top of the page that is "My Home." Go there and look down the page a little and there are links you can click on to change all kinds of setting such as your personal profile.

Good luck with the new machine! With only 290 hrs... that baby ain't even broke in yet!

If it has a 681 loader, it's probably Kub. I don't know the JD numbering all that well, but wouldn't it be one heckova coincidence for the loader models to also overlap?

Let's see, wasn't it a certain tractor company that had a certain touchiness about a competitor using their color? I wonder if they feel the same way about numbers?
