Congrats on the B6100 - you'll love it. I have one and love mine.
Is yous a gear or hydrostat?

Mine has a Kubota B219 loader so if you can find one of those, you'll know it will work.

You may find that it is cheaper to buy a tractor with a loader, unless you get really lucky.

I have a B1630 FEL, there's also a 1630C that is supposed to allow for a belly mower. A used loader will not be easy to find but any that fit a B6100 or B7100 should work. These are tough little tractors.

Thanks, it has a 3 point hitch 4' mower. I would like a loader, post hole digger, and blade. I hear that there are several after market loaders but I have not found one that I am sure will work. I will post more about the tractor tomorrow. The price was right but it could still be a money pit.

You might take a look at RCO Tractor in Austin. They sell koyker loaders and parts.

I did very well with a Bushhog loader on my old B8200HSTD. I bought it with just a 3pt mower and scraper, then saved up for a loader. I used the smallest Bushhog QA loader for about 10 years.

Having been around TBN since it's infancy, I will tell you the used loader market is practically non existant.

Having bought a loader, I would warn you to be ready for sticker shock. Mine was $3150.
That's right, over $3k!

At the time, a Kubota loader was a couple hundred more expensive. And, because they did not have a mount kit for my slightly older tractor, Kubota would have had to cut and weld a newer mount kit to make it fit.

These appear to be the latest version of the loader I had; the smallest available.
Compact Loaders 1847QT
Compact Loaders 1045

Had a friend with a 30hp Massey; it had a Koyker loader. Worked fine too.

The loader I bought is still going strong. I know the guy that bought the B8200 when I moved up to a larger tractor.

If you can find a Kubota loader for your tractor, I'd take it. The ease of installation/removal of the loader once it's mounted is easily worth severall hundred $$$'s in my opinion.

However, since you may not be able to find one, I bought a Koyker for a grey-market tractor I once owned. They are very well built and a good company.

That B6100 is older than my B8200 was. Kubota could surely fit a new loader to it. But, they would have to hack apart and rebuild the frame at the dealer. That was a part of why I went aftermarket; Bushhog had the subframe to fit my tractor.

I do like the fit/finish of my NH factory loader. Prefer it to aftermarket. The OP is 99% wouldn't have that option.
