Hey everybody, I have just moved out to a small acreage which has a shelter-belt, my 5th wheel and alot of Alfalfa. I have been looking at different tractors, from a Ford 9n to a Allis comber 17D to a mini compact tractor.
It looks as if I will be seriously looking at getting the TZ25 tomorrow or day after. It included the tractor 2006 with 140 hours, 60 inch belly mower and a 48 inch heavy duty tiller for 11 000. I think its a pretty good deal. What do all you New Holland owners think?
Does it sound like I am getting a pretty good deal? Hydraulics and engine seem good and all works. I wanted a bit bigger tractor but I only have 5 acres.
I want to move some earth, till between my shelter belt, spray, move snow on my drive way, could be 200 feet to road way. Till a garden which has alfalfa in it right now 50 * 50, and a 150 * 50 new shelter belt. Will the 25 HP motor and unit do it for me?
Anyways thanks for the input, seems like quite an active board. Its pretty funny how your interests can change so quickly. I have spent to many hours looking at tractors over the last month!!
