Oh I agree having a guage is a good idea, I have accumulated many different tools over the years and inherited many more from my dad but I haven't ever had a problem with oil pressure. I pulled out the valve spring compressor the other day you know the one like a huge C clamp with a handle and my son said I am glad you finally used that thing because I have been looking at it for years and didn't know what it was, I just didn't want to ask and look stupid ( I didn't tell him that I had the same problem for years). We farmed for the first 22 years of my life and if you couldn't weld it together when it broke then you had to get the tools out and fix it usually during the winter with very little heat brrr. My dad was really lets say thrifty when it came to fixing something. As I repair things that used to be his I usually find myself rebuilding the entire unit to fix the lets say rigged things that he had repaired before, ya got to love him
